Class of 1984 - 40th Reunion

1984

Message from the Planning Committee

It is with great excitement that we invite you to join us for our upcoming class reunion, set to take place on May 17-19, 2024. As we  gather together to celebrate our shared accomplishments, reminisce on the past and create new memories, we urge you to use this website as a resource to stay connected and engaged with one another.

As we all know, our medical school years were marked by countless trials and tribulations, endless hours of studying and hard work, but also by moments of triumph, joy, and camaraderie. The bonds we forged with one another are ones that have lasted for a lifetime, and we look forward to rekindling those relationships and reconnecting with our fellow alumni at this monumental event.

In the lead-up to the reunion, we encourage you to use this website to share photographs and messages, reminisce about the good times and keep abreast of any updates and announcements regarding the reunion.

Let us make our 40th Class Reunion a celebration that truly reflects the lasting bonds that we have forged. See you all on May 17-19, 2024, where we will reunite and create more unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime!

Martina Hartmark - I retired in 4-2022 after almost 35 years working in primary care internal medicine for Health Partners in St Paul, MN. I am grateful for the career that I had and grateful to be able to retire and am relishing having time to explore other interests.

Curtis Hunt - Wishing all the best to my classmates, WSU faculty and staff of Scott Hall. Looking back on (Wow!) 40 years of primary care internal medicine, I never once regretted the great training I received at Wayne. Medicine is truly a great profession and the challenge of making a subtle diagnosis and helping people remains rewarding. Slowing down in practice now at 66 years to enjoy more travel, biking, reading and gardening.

Nancy Porter Lipson - After practicing PM&R in Indianapolis for 25 years, and raising 4 kids, I relocated (at my husband's insistence) to Tucson, AZ in 2014. Don't miss the snow and ice, but summers are brutal. Still working part-time. I have fond memories of Hamtramck and our shared experience at WSU. We got great clinical training ! Looking forward to the May reunion.
