Note from Robert Sherwin - I wanted to inform all the alumni of the recent and sudden passing of Dr. George Costea who ran the Cass Clinic for over 40 years. Dr. Costea dedicated the vast majority of every Saturday morning since the early 80's to providing free health care to Detroit's poor and underserved of the Cass Corridor. Dr. Costea taught hundreds of Wayne State medical students over the years and demonstrated selflessness and commitment to serving the community. Cass Clinic is in need of any physicians interested in volunteers their time - please contact Rob Sherwin @ 734-231-3857 or at rsherwin@dmc.org.
