Beth Olson's current role is Water Safety Officer in the Office of Environmental Health & Safety at Wayne State University. She has been with Wayne State since 2012 but assumed the role of Water Safety Officer in 2018. Her previous roles include Laboratory Technician, Part-time faculty and Occupational Health & Safety Specialist.  She is currently developing and implementing the University's first Water Safety Plan.

She is the current chair of the newly formed MPH Alumni Group looking forward to engaging with alumni, the Medical Alumni Association and the community. She lives in St. Clair Shores and loves traveling with her son.
