Dr. Piero Simone is a board certified ophthalmologist that specializes in advanced cataract and refractive surgery.   He founded Simone Eye Center in 1999 and continues as the President and Medical Director.  Dr. Simone has restored vision in thousands of patients and continues to revolutionize the accuracy and outcomes of surgery.  

He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery and Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Simone has been recognized by his peers as a Top Doc in Detroit Hour magazine multiple times.Dr. Simone currently holds hospital privileges at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and Troy, where he continues to work with residents and students. Dr. Simone is the former Section Head of Ophthalmology at William Beaumont, Troy. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.
