Trifun Dimitrijevski, M.D. '02, Res. '05
Dr. Trifun Dimitrijevski is a Wayne State University School of Medicine class of 2002, and 2005 graduate of WSU SOM/DMC Detroit Receiving Emergency Medicine Residency Program. He is currently employed with Medical Center Emergency Services and serve as attending physician with the department of emergency medicine at Detroit Receiving Hospital.
Dr. Dimitrijevski serves as faculty of WSU School of Medicine as director of high-fidelity medical simulation and assistant clerkship director of the year IV emergency medicine clerkship. In addition, he has extensive experience in event and sports medicine, having served as an associate team physician for the Detroit Pistons and assistant medical director for the Detroit Marathon. He currently serves as medical director for the Detroit Grand Prix, as well as chief medical officer for SRO GT World Challenge America, a sportscar racing series in North America. He has also provided medical care at Comerica Park in the first aid station during Detroit Tigers games and concerts.
Dr. Dimitrijevski' s Interests include medical student education, high fidelity medical simulation and motorsports medicine.
