Linda D. Forte retired as senior vice president of Business Affairs and chief diversity officer for Comerica Incorporated. She was also a member of Comerica's senior leadership team.  She was responsible for defining and driving business strategies that establish Comerica as a leader in diversity and work-life practices and has achieved national recognition for the company's diversity efforts. Forte was also responsible for the Comerica Charitable Foundation, Corporate Contributions and Civic Affairs, overseeing corporate giving and community involvement programs.

Forte began her career with Comerica in 1974 and has held management positions in Comerica's Small Business, United States Banking and Loan Administration Groups, Human Resources and Banking Center Administration.

She serves on several boards and executive committees for organizations across southeast Michigan and the U.S. Forte has received numerous awards for her corporate citizenship and community involvement, including being recognized by Crain's Detroit Business as one of southeast Michigan's Most Influential Women.

Forte received her Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University, where she was a 2013 inductee of the school's Academy of Distinguished Alumni, and her Master of Business Administration in finance and accounting from the University of Michigan.
