Mindi Fynke is president and chief executive officer of Employee Health Insurance Management, the company she founded in 1987 as a Third-Party Administrator. In 1989, the company began offering Pharmacy Benefit Management services to organizations and businesses across the country and has established itself as one of the nation's largest independent pharmacy benefit managers.
Ms. Fynke's long-term dedication to improving the well-being of those she serves by developing innovative managed care solutions has contributed to EHIM becoming the most successful privately held, woman-owned pharmacy benefit management company in the United States.
Over the years, Fynke and EHIM have forged long-lasting relationships with a diverse lineup of public and private employers, including the Veterans Administration, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, state and local municipalities and private sector companies. As part of Fynke's commitment to community service, EHIM has established pharmacy benefit programs for charitable organizations such as the Jewish Family Service of Metropolitan Detroit and the Chaldean American Ladies of Charity, as well as launched EHIM Cares, a program designed for the uninsured or underinsured.
A founding member of the Jewish Women's Foundation, Fynke serves on the boards of many community organizations, including the Detroit Economic Club, the Jewish Federation of Metro Detroit, and Project Healthy Community.
