Gurjit Ajimal is a 1985 graduate of the Wayne State University School of Medicine and is a member of the Department of Anesthesiology at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Mich.

He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, which has also certified him in Pain Management.

After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Ajimal underwent post-graduate training at Henry Ford Hospital, the University of Chicago and Sinai Hospital of Detroit.

He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Western Ontario, and received a master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Wayne State University.

A clinical associate professor of Michigan State University, he formerly served as chair of that department, as well as chair of Anesthesiology and of Surgery as Caylor Nickel Medical Center in Bluffton, Ind.

A diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and the National Board, Dr. Ajimal is a fellow of the American Academy of Pain Medicine.
