Class Ambassador Program
The Class Ambassador Program is a proud tradition at the Wayne State University School of Medicine, comprised of a dedicated group of alumni who represent their individual class years. These ambassadors serve as vital connectors between classmates and their medical school, helping to foster a strong sense of community and pride.

Whether you're organizing a reunion, sharing news, or simply staying in touch, being a Class Ambassador is a meaningful way to stay involved after graduation. Your voice and enthusiasm help keep the Warrior spirit alive!
Class Ambassador Responsibilities
Class Ambassadors work closely with the WSU School of Medicine Alumni Office to help foster meaningful connections among alumni. Their efforts play a key role in keeping classmates engaged and informed.
As a Class Ambassador, you’ll:
- 📬 Stay in touch with classmates through letters, emails, or social media.
- 📰 Gather updates for the Classnotes section of the alumni e-newsletter — including milestones like marriages, births, awards, and career achievements.
- 🏫 Share news about School of Medicine events and updates.
- 🎉 Encourage participation in alumni activities such as regional events and Alumni Reunion — a personal invite from a classmate makes a big impact!
- 💡 Brainstorm creative ways to keep your class connected — like creating a class Facebook group or encouraging LinkedIn engagement.
- 🎈 Join the reunion planning committee during milestone reunion years.
- 🎁 Promote giving by encouraging classmates to support the Alumni Annual Fund and Special Class Gifts.
