The WSU School of Medicine DINNER WITH A DOC program matches medical students with practicing physicians in the Detroit metro area. The purpose of the program is to bring together current medical students and SOM alumni in an informal setting where they can discuss both medical practice and its influence on the family. This program is a great opportunity for medical students to learn more about specific specialties and the practice of medicine in general. It gives them an opportunity to ask questions about family life during the various stages of medical education and career and solicit tips and advice.
