George Richards is a former Comerica Bank executive. As senior vice president and retail market manager, he was responsible for Comerica's southeast Michigan banking centers and served on the bank's Michigan Executive Leadership Team. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fisk University in Nashville, Tenn.

Richards has been a recipient of The Michigan Chronicle's Men of Excellence Award and has been recognized for his fundraising efforts for the United Negro College Fund and for Fisk University. He has served on various boards, including the Urban League, the Arts League of Michigan and Real Life 101, a mentoring and scholarship program for at-risk young men.
