Matthew Roling joined BoostUp as its CEO in June of 2017.  BoostUp is a Detroit based, venture backed financial technology company in the Quicken Loans family of companies.  Over 5,000 people have used BoostUp to help them save towards their down payment on a new car or a mortgage.

Before joining BoostUp, Matthew spent five years as the business development leader at Rock Ventures, Dan Gilbert's family office.  In this role, Matthew co-led the creation of the team responsible for portfolio reporting and value creation for the Quicken Loans family of companies.  Matthew has also worked in M&A consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers and turnaround consulting at AlixPartners.   

Matthew has been involved in many community initiatives, including supporting Wayne County prosecutor Kym Worthy's efforts to raise funding and awareness for the untested backlog of 11,000+ sexual assault kits.  He is the former board chair and current board member for the Downtown Boxing Gym youth program.  Matthew also serves on one of the DEGC's boards and is on the advisory board of two technology start-ups.

The holder of a bachelors and a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Matthew has occasionally taught as an adjunct professor at Wayne State's business school.
