Monique Butler

Monique Butler, M.D., ’06, M.B.A., is president of Graduate Medical Education for HCA Healthcare, a leading provider of health care services comprised of 186 hospitals and approximately 2,400 sites of care in 20 states and the United Kingdom.

She is responsible for more than 300 residency and fellowship programs in 16 states, more than 70 teaching hospitals, and more than 5,300 residents and fellows. She previously served as chief medical officer of HCA Healthcare’s North Florida Division and of the Swedish Medical Center. Before joining HCA, she served as chief operating officer at Children’s Hospital of Michigan/Detroit Medical Center. An internist, she received her master’s of Business Administration degree from the University of Tennessee.
