I want to express my great appreciation to Dr. Simone for meeting with me and mentoring me through the one-on-one virtual mentoring program. He gave me excellent advice on how to become a more competitive applicant for ophthalmology residency, and did a great job answering my questions about ophthalmology residency and post-residency life. Also, he was just a friendly and awesome person to talk to. I plan on contacting him again in the future when I have new questions.
