Through the alumni association, I was able to attend an emergency medicine group mentoring session with Andy Wilson who was a Wayne grad c/o 1971. Dr. Wilson was incredibly warm and welcoming, but also straight to the point with the pros, cons and concrete advice for us regarding the field of EM. He told incredible stories with passion that is hard to come by. I was inspired to see someone who was so enamored by his work and how his critical thinking and practicality really allowed him to succeed and realize how good he would be in this role.
