I wanted to take this moment to convey my immense gratitude to my WSUSOM alumni sponsor for my first white coat as a medical student. As a daughter of immigrants, I pride myself on my ability and passion for connecting with those from a wide variety of backgrounds and life experiences. I hope to use my training in this excellent urban institution to positively affect the lives of those in need all around me.
