Notes of Appreciation
Every contribution alumni make, whether providing a meal or housing for a medical student, offering career advice or a shadowing opportunity, hosting an event, or donating to the Medical Alumni Annual Fund, has a lasting impact on the School of Medicine community. Below are expressions of appreciation from medical students for support they have received from alumni.

Dear Dr. Dickerson,
Thank you very much for allowing me to come into your office and experience what a day in the life of an ob/gyn looks like. I know you have a really busy schedule so I really appreciate the time that you took out to give me advice about choosing a specialty, holding onto humanity in medicine, and for providing me with valuable knowledge throughout the day. Thank you for the opportunity to spend time with a patient one-on-one and for showing me how to measure the size of a uterus and listen to a baby's heartbeat! This was the first time I've observed and practiced any of these physical exam procedures so this was a very valuable moment for me. The time that I spent observing you and Lynn in the office has made me even more intrigued in your specialty. Thank you so much for all your time and help!
Best,
Rida Farook
