Notes of Appreciation
Every contribution alumni make, whether providing a meal or housing for a medical student, offering career advice or a shadowing opportunity, hosting an event, or donating to the Medical Alumni Annual Fund, has a lasting impact on the School of Medicine community. Below are expressions of appreciation from medical students for support they have received from alumni.
Event: Shadowing
Event Year: 2022
Hazem
Dear Dr. Arbit,
I want to sincerely thank you for allowing me to see the work you do as a PM&R physician. The session I had with you was very interactive and engaging and I learned a lot. I appreciate the fact that you had me 'think like a doctor' by asking me questions that a physician would normally ask. It really made me excited to take on that role, and it has definitely gotten me more interested in the specialty. I am definitely considering it now, and since I had no prior experience in the field, I owe that new found interest to you. I am definitely looking forward to shadowing you again, and I hope you recover well from your surgery.
All the best,
Hazem Alata
