Thank you so much to Dr. Markowitz for taking us out to dinner to tell us more about his experiences as an OBGYN and how he came to his current position as the P4 Course Director. It was very insightful to hear about his times in residency and his journey to become a physician. As an M1 who has not had any exposure to OBGYN and had a very basic knowledge of what an OBGYN physician does, our conversations during dinner made me interested in exploring more about this specialty. It was also interesting to hear his perspective on how the field of OBGYN has evolved since he finished his residency. I am grateful for this experience with Dr. Markowitz and for the Dinner with a Doc program here at Wayne State University School of Medicine.
