Thank you so much to Dr. Peres for letting me shadow him at the Henry Ford Cancer Institute. I greatly appreciated him taking the time to explain the different cancer mechanisms and the reasonings for each treatment plan for the patients because this made it an awesome learning experience. As someone who is interested in Heme/Onc, I gained a lot from shadowing Dr. Peres and I appreciate his mentoring advice. It was awesome to have shadowed him and to have learned more about the various stem cell treatments. I am grateful for the opportunity to connect with and shadow Dr. Peres, and to have learned more about the specialty I foresee myself pursuing.
