Thank you so much, Dr. Edelman, for allowing me to shadow you and learn more about your specialty! I had a great time and gained so much knowledge from being able to sit in the OR and observe a procedure. I appreciated how you consistently narrated what was going on and what you were going to do next, so I could follow along and understand the steps of the procedure better. I also appreciated how passionate you were about your field, and how much you wanted to share everything you knew with me. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to get a glimpse of your day-to-day life and ask questions.
