Notes of Appreciation
Every contribution alumni make, whether providing a meal or housing for a medical student, offering career advice or a shadowing opportunity, hosting an event, or donating to the Medical Alumni Annual Fund, has a lasting impact on the School of Medicine community. I am very thankful for the WSU SOM Alumni HOST program. Residency interview season is long, arduous, and very expensive and every little bit of support helps. I was able to stay with Drs. Meurer (husband & wife, both SOM graduates) in Milwaukee for 2 nights before my interview at the Medical College of Wisconsin. They were so welcoming - I really enjoyed my time with them and their adorable kitten Cheeto. I look forward to being able to host a medical student someday!
