Notes of Appreciation
Every contribution alumni make, whether providing a meal or housing for a medical student, offering career advice or a shadowing opportunity, hosting an event, or donating to the Medical Alumni Annual Fund, has a lasting impact on the School of Medicine community. I am very grateful for the WSU SOM Alumni HOST program. This past residency interview season was long, exhausting, and very expensive--every little bit of support helped. I was able to stay with Dr. and Mrs. Heyka the night before my interview in Cleveland. They are kind and gracious hosts--even welcoming me with a journal from The Cleveland Museum of Art and mailing the glasses I'd accidentally left at their home to my address. I look forward to being able to host students interviewing for medical school and residency in the future!
